the rooms are spacious. the staff was generally helpful . breakfast included a variety of options, including fresh fruit and pastries. i found this convenient before heading out for the day.
the tv in my room wasn't working properly upon arrival. i had to follow up multiple times with the front desk to get it fixed, causing some delay. i was also surprised by the extra fee for late checkout. i've not experienced this at other hotels.

The breakfast buffet was a real surprise. It reminded me of all-inclusive resorts regarding breakfast options. The food was fantastic and the staff quickly cleaned and seated everyone.
The front desk people gave me attitude and used condescending tones. I asked for a late checkout and they require a $20 per hour fee for staying after the normal checkout time (which I found surprising).

broken ice machines
This added unnecessary time to my schedule. I also found the ice machines on several floors out of service, an inconvenience. Getting ice required me to go to other floors, and that was annoying. I thought this was unacceptable. The lack of readily available ice impacted my overall experience negatively.
